Fisherman's Hut 1 and 2 are well-equipped holiday cabins with stunning locations on an island near Partakoski in Savitaipale, just about 45 min drive from the City of Lappeenranta.

Situated on Lapinsalo Island, the cottages offer a unique opportunity to experience a holiday in the genuine tranquillity of nature on Lake Saimaa.
A special feature of Fisherman’s Hut 1 is that you can enjoy your private headland of the island, surrounded by the clear waters of Lake Saimaa.
The cottage is a five-minute boat ride from the boat dock and parking (address: Kolhoniementie 45, Savitaipale), which makes your holiday a fun experience right from the start. A 9-horsepower boat is included in the price of the cottage. We’ll take you to the cottage and show you how to use the boat. Awaiting you there are cosy two-bedroom cottages, the crystal-clear waters of Lake Saimaa and a laid-back atmosphere amidst unspoilt nature.
True to their name, the Fisherman's Huts are particularly popular with people who fish, but they are also perfect for anyone who appreciates the peace of island life and being close to nature. Blueberry and chanterelle-filled woods open up right outside the cottage door.
A small wilderness pond in the centre of Lapinsalo Island offers a fun destination for both children and adult explorers. Put on your wellies or walking boots, and get your hiking app ready!
The identical Fisherman's Huts are situated 60 metres apart. However, they are positioned so that both cottages enjoy their own peace and quiet. The pair of cottages is also an excellent option for larger groups (max. 12 people).
Both cottages have a hard-bottomed, rocky shore, so it helps if you have some experience of using an outboard motor. However, also first-timers have had a lot of fun learning how to drive a boat.
Pets are welcome at Fisherman's Huts.
Instructions and booking terms
From Midsummer week until the end of August, the minimum rental period is one week. The changeover day is Saturday, with arrival after 4 pm and departure by 12 noon. You can also enquire about shorter stays by calling 044 243 2511 or emailing myynti@lomavakkara.fi.
